April 1st 2013: The Pittsburgh Marathon will be here in 34 day, and I've been injured this entire winter/training season. It's been very dissappointing because I was picked to be a training mentor and help lead long runs, but instead I've just been sitting around and waiting for my neck, leg, and now back to heal. At age 31, I may be starting to feel human. But pain has never stopped me before. So, I developed a 4 week training program to get me and my friend Stacie to the finish line. She hasn't trained all winter due to a hip flexor injury. Hopefully we'll finish the 26.2 mile journey. Either way, you can follow our training in this journal.
